NEWSLETTER ADVERTISING (TOURISM STAKEHOLDERS)
The newsletter is sent out once a month to tourism stakeholders, as well as to George municipality officials and politicians who use email.  Stakeholders on the database include accommodation, activities, tour operators and transport providers, restaurants and events within George Municipality.  Local organisations with an interest in tourism, such as the business chambers, tourism associations, tourist guide associations and more are also subscribed.

The newsletter is filled with content that is relevant to tourism stakeholders and businesses only.  Advertisers may supply an advert banner image to be inserted into the newsletter, subject to editorial approval.

Size:          1200w x 150h pixels
Format:     A good quality JPEG must be supplied.
No blurry designs will be accepted.
Link:          A link can be supplied with the artwork.

WEBSITE BLOG POST
The website visitgeorge.co.za is tourist facing, therefore only content that is highly relevant to tourists will be accepted.  We only promote service providers who operate in George Municipality and do not allow advertising of other destinations.

An approved advertiser may supply pre-written content that is between 700 – 750 words.  It must be written in the same style and tone as the existing website copy and may be tweaked by the Tourism section to ensure quality content in the brand voice.

The Tourism section manages three consumer-facing brands which are on Facebook and Instagram:

Wilderness Tourism:
