Update on Low Pressure & Water Outage: 21 November 2023 @ 16:05

The Eskom Potable Water Storage Reservoir is still experiencing low water supply levels. Municipal teams that are on site confirmed that a pump impeller was faulty.
Repair work is underway to restore water to affected areas this afternoon.

Residents of Blanco and surrounding areas are urged to continue using water sparingly to allow the reservoir to build up reserves.

A standpipe will be installed on the corner of Searle and Maitland Street to cater to residents without water.
