REGISTRATION ON DATABASE -KERBING & SIDEWALK SUB-CONTRACTORS REQUIRED FOR THE REHABILITATION OF GOLF STREET, MAIN ROAD TO CIRCULAR DRIVE, BALLOTSVIEW

You are cordially invited to register on the kerbing & sidewalk sub-contractors database, by submitting your application for CIDB 1CE, 2CEand 3CEsub-contract appointments for the rehabilitation of Golf Street, Main Road to Circular Drive, Ballots View.

All qualifying applicants with a BBBEE Level 1 certification will be considered, however, preference will be afforded to contractors residing specifically in the affected Ward 8 and Ward 7 where the project is.

REQUIREMENTS: CIDB registration as level 1CE, 2CE and 3CE; Compliant with Workman’s Compensation – COID letter of good standing; SARS – letter of good standing; Proof of competency of Skilled workers; CVs must be attached; Should have completed at least three similar type projects in the past two years; Reference letters, on the official letterhead of the company, confirming successful completion of previous projects; Contactable references; Proof of residence; Must be able to lay a minimum of 100 linear meters of kerbs per day; Experience with G5/G4 sub-base layer works construction with an asphalt overlay. Note: A successful contractor will have to provide a compliant site-specific Health and Safety file.

PROCESS: Interested applicants must deliver their Expression of Interest at the Entsha Henra site office in Boog Street, Ballotsview, George on Friday, 25 August 2023 between the hours of 08h00 and 12h00.

The Expression of Interest must contain the above-stated required documentation as well as contact details for the applicant. All documentation must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “GOLF STREET SUB-CONTRACT FOR KERBING AND SIDEWALKS”.

Only qualifying Sub-contractors will be invited to a tender briefing at a date, time and place to be communicated to the qualifying applicants. At this briefing, the work will be explained and questions from attendees will be answered. The Main Contractor will appoint the successful Sub-contractor/s. The decision taken by the Main Contractor will be final.
