Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 40(3) and 41 of the amended 2014 EIA Regulations (GNR 326) of a Public Participation Process for the above project.

Location:
Remainder of farm 236, Portion 37 of 236, Portion 35 of 236, Portion 10 of 236, Portion 36 of 236, Erf 116, Erf 237, Erf 113, Erf 110 Remainder of 95 and Erf 110, Herold’s Bay, George Municipality, Western Cape.

Description of the activity:
It is proposed to upgrade the existing pumpstation (PS1) located on the Herold’s Bay beachfront, to construct a new pumpstation (PS4) on Skimmelkrans Lane, to install a pipeline from PS1 to PS4 and install a pipeline from PS4 to the Herold’s Bay Wastewater Treatment Works. Please refer to Pre-Application Basic Assessment Report for more information.
