NOTICE is hereby given that the water supply will be interrupted on 13 FEBRUARY 2024 FROM 09H00 TO 17H00 for the purpose of doing alterations to the water mains.

Should circumstances prevent the work being carried out during the abovementioned period; the work will be done on
14 FEBRUARY 2024 FROM 09H00 TO 18H00

Please note that Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) which is situated at Hibernia Street, MVR in Blanco, Driving Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) in Pacaltsdorp and Vehicle Testing Station (VTS) will be closing at 14:00 on Wednesday, 14 January 2024 for compulsory monthly meetings. Services at all the above traffic service centres will resume on Thursday, 15 February 2024.

NOTICE is hereby given that the electricity supply will be interrupted on TUESDAY 13 FEBRUARY 2024 FROM 09H00 TO 16H00 to do alterations to the electrical mains.

Consumers are warned to treat the installation as being live for the full duration as the supply may be resumed at any time within the notified period.

Should circumstances prevent the work from being carried out during the abovementioned period; the work will be done on WEDNESDAY 14 FEBRUARY 2024 FROM 09H00 TO 16H00

The George Municipality wishes to inform the community of the City of George about some essential maintenance work that will be taking place at the Civic Centre Community Hall and the Banquet Hall, located at 71 York Street.

To ensure that these facilities continue to meet the highest standards, the George Municipality has scheduled general maintenance activities. As a result, both the Civic Centre Community Hall and the Banquet Hall will be temporarily unavailable for bookings from 1 March 2024 to 31 May 2024.

The Municipality understands the importance of these community spaces and appreciates your understanding and cooperation during this maintenance period. The Municipality’s commitment is to provide you with excellent facilities, and these efforts are essential to uphold that standard.
