Please be advised that George Municipality’s Network Control conducted an emergency power trip affecting parts of George due to unforeseen circumstances.

Municipal teams have completed repairs to the burst pipe in Denneoord.
Water supply is being restored, but residents are requested to allow time for the network to stabilise.

George Municipality confirms that power has been restored to the affected portion of Thembalethu Zone 7 and 8.
