Update on Power Outages in Thembalethu

The power outages will remain off in the following areas and the work will resume tomorrow morning.

• Zone 2: Remains partially without power, due to the inaccessibility of the terrain where the fault occurred.
• Portions of Zone 7 & 8: Mandela Village will remain off for the rest of the night until all illegal connections are removed. Due to the extent of the work and safety concerns, this can only be done during daylight hours.

Update on Power Outages in Thembalethu

Most of the areas in Thembalethu have now been restored. However, the following areas remain partially off:

• Zone 2: Remains partially without power.
• Zone 7: Mandela Village will remain off until all illegal connections are removed. Fuse holders have been removed, and solid wires connected.
• Zone 8: Remains off while technicians are attending to the illegal connections.
