UPDATE 1: Weather Advisory for George Area

Due to heavy downpours, water is severely ponding (seeping upward from inside or below the surface) at the bottom section of York Street, R102 to the Go George Bus Depot. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid using this route if possible.

As a safety precaution against the floods, members of the public are urged to avoid being on the roads unless necessary. This applies to both motorists and pedestrians.
