MWEB EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS NOT RECEIVING MONTHLY STATEMENTS FROM GEORGE MUNICIPALITY
George Municipality has been notified that clients with MWEB e-mail addresses do not receive their monthly Municipal statements from email@example.com.
The reason for not receiving the account via e-mail may be due to the MWEB server indicating the statement as spam.
To ensure our clients from MWEB do receive their monthly Municipal Accounts via e-mail, we request them to make contact with their MWEB service providers, to whitelist the domain mail.billit.co.za, for the e-mails, in respect of the municipal account.
To log a ticket with MWEB, you as the client can e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and ask them to whitelist the domain mail.billit.co.za in order to receive your municipal account via your e-mail address from our service provider. Unfortunately, neither the municipality, nor our service provider can log a ticket, as MWEB will only process these requests from their own clients.
