Cleansing at Lawaaikamp business premises

The Cleansing department of Community Services, George Municipality held a clean-up at the small business premises in Lawaaikamp. Ms Grace Notshokovu from the department said, the purpose of the project, is to help the residents of an area to take responsibility for the area’s cleanliness. A worker will be appointed to keep the business area clean and the owners were provided with wheelie bins to further assist in the project. The business owners will be responsible to take the wheelie bins to a central point to be emptied on refuse days and will be responsible to keep the bins under key and lock. They are also urged to recycle. Here the officials from the Cleansing department are with the refuse bags after the cleansing project with one of the business owner’s that received a wheelie bin, Mr Wellington Gosani. He is the owner of Gosani Butchery.
